Art Deco
Various materials I made in SD for the project, all but the Top right (the elevator) are 100% designer. I wanted to test out bringing shapes from Illustrator or photoshop and was definitely worth while for that shape.

Blockout in maya through different stages of production in unreal just showing lighting. Forgot to take progress pics in unreal so took them after the fact with all of my lights still present (whoops)

Some of the main concept art I gathered for the project, shout out to A series of unfortunate events for being just a wealth of vis ref (and amazing)

Art Deco

A little art deco inspired environment located at the top floor of some hotel. All assets were created by me, modeling done in Maya, a bit of material creation in Substance Designer, texturing in Substance Painter, and assembled in UE4 4.22.2. Really dug into using the ray tracing and SSS in unreal for the project, I wanted really unique defining shadows am super happy with the way it came out. As always got to create some fun materials to go with the project and actually made them right after the blockout phase and I think that really helped my pipeline having those key materials made ahead of time, only the chesterfield couch material was made outside of that time, but modeling it all seemed super inefficient and I decided to make a material instead. All in all this was a great learning experience for my first asset heavy environment at this point in my artistic development and I'm looking forward to the next!
